OneXPlayer And AYANEO Launch Android Handheld Gaming Devices Powered by New Snapdragon G Series Chips

At the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, OneXPlayer and AYANEO unveiled their latest Android gaming devices. These new handhelds and gaming pads, powered by the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset, offer innovative designs and robust performance for portable gaming enthusiasts.

OneXPlayer's ONEXSUGAR: A Dual-Screen Experience

OneXPlayer introduced the ONEXSUGAR, a distinctive Android handheld featuring two screens. It boasts a 6.01-inch main display and a concealed 3.92-inch back screen that can be unfolded. This configuration allows users to switch between single-screen and dual-screen modes, reminiscent of the Nintendo 3DS.

The ONEXSUGAR is equipped with the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset, which includes an 8-core Kryo CPU and an Adreno A32 GPU capable of ray tracing. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 through FastConnect 7800. Designed for smooth Android, cloud, and retro gaming experiences, it features detachable controllers for versatile gameplay.

AYANEO Gaming Pad: Enhanced Performance

AYANEO revealed its first Android gaming pad, named the AYANEO Gaming Pad, which also runs on the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset. This device offers a significant boost in performance with a 30% increase in CPU power and a 28% enhancement in GPU capabilities compared to previous models.

The AYANEO Gaming Pad sports an 8.3-inch 1440P LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz for clear and fluid visuals. The Explorer Edition stands out with its transparent glass back and CNC all-metal frame, providing a premium aesthetic.

AYANEO Pocket S2: Global Debut

The AYANEO Pocket S2 made its global debut as another device powered by the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset. It features a vibrant 6.3-inch 1440P IPS display known for sharp colours and brightness.

This handheld device delivers similar performance gains of a 30% increase in CPU power and a 28% boost in GPU capabilities. It supports ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution for enhanced graphics detail.

A high-capacity battery ensures extended gaming sessions, complemented by fast charging capabilities and an advanced cooling system with a large heat sink to maintain stable performance.

Availability and Pre-Orders

The ONEXSUGAR will be available for pre-order starting May 2025 on Indiegogo, offering early sign-ups a discount of up to 30%. Full specifications and pricing details are yet to be disclosed.

The AYANEO Gaming Pad is expected to hit the market in May 2025 as well. Meanwhile, the AYANEO Pocket S2 is set to launch later this month, March 2025.
