Sony Celebrates 30th PlayStation Anniversary with Limited-Edition PS5 and PS5 Pro Consoles and Accessories
Sony is marking the 30th anniversary of its PlayStation brand with a special release of limited-edition consoles and accessories. This special edition consoles includes a digital version of the PlayStation 5, the new PlayStation 5 Pro, DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers, and the PlayStation Portal.
PlayStation 5 Pro Limited-Edition Bundle
These limited-edition PlayStation consoles and accessories sport a grey colour scheme reminiscent of the original PlayStation from December 3, 1994. The consoles feature lighter grey outer panels and darker grey inner bodies, adorned with the original four-colour PlayStation logo on the side. A unique 30th-anniversary logo is also present on the back and embossed as a pattern on the inner side of the outer panels.

Both digital PS5 and PS5 Pro come with matching accessories. The standard DualSense controller shares this grey theme, complete with the four-colour logo and textured anniversary pattern. A special USB-C cable mimics the old PlayStation controller cable's look. The stand matches in colour too.
PlayStation 5 Digital Limited-Edition Bundle
Sony includes rubber cable ties shaped like PlayStation icons, a sticker, a paperclip, and one of 30 limited edition posters. Both consoles are digital but offer an optional disc drive with a matching colour plate for those who purchase it.

The PlayStation Portal receives a similar makeover, featuring the same colours and logos. All devices arrive in packaging that echoes the original PlayStation design.
PS5 Bundle Accessories
Sony offers these consoles in bundles. The PS5 Pro bundle contains the console, a matching DualSense and DualSense Pro controller, a charging station, and other accessories. Only 12,300 units will be available, each numbered on its side.

The PS5 (Review) bundle includes just one digital console with a matching DualSense controller and accessories. The Limited-Edition PlayStation Portal is sold separately. Additionally, you can buy the Limited Edition DualSense Edge with a matching case or opt for the standard DualSense. The only missing element is an optical drive version of the PS5; you'll need to buy it separately since both consoles are digital-only.
Pre-orders for these limited-edition products start on September 26 at direct.playstation.com and select retailers. However, the base PS5 digital edition will be available from October 10 at participating retailers. All items will be released for sale on November 21. Pricing details have not been disclosed yet.
