Sony Summer Sale Brings Rs 5,000 Discount on PlayStation 5 Slim; Where to Buy?

Sony has announced a summer sale starting May 1 to May 14. During the sale, the PlayStation 5 Slim can be purchased at Rs 49,990 instead of its original price of Rs 54,990.

PlayStation 5 Slim was launched earlier this month in the country starting at Rs 44,990 for the Digital Edition. Notably, the offer is only applicable to the disc version, which will be available for purchase with a Rs 5,000 discount on platforms like Amazon, Blinkit, Croma, Flipkart, Reliance, Sony Center, Vijay Sales, and other participating retailers.

PlayStation 5 Slim has a compact and lighter design compared to the standard PlayStation 5. It comes with an 8-core Zen 2 CPU, a custom RDNA 2 graphics chip, and 16GB of GDDR6 RAM, 1TB SSD, ensuring smooth gameplay. Both digital and disc versions support HDMI 2.1 ports, 4K streaming apps and Dolby Atmos audio.

If you are planning to upgrade your gaming setup, the upcoming sale is probably the right time to get one. The PS5 Slim also supports 1TB of internal storage, offering more space compared to the standard PS5 which supports 825GB. The PlayStation 5 Slim also supports 4K 120Hz TVs and 8K TVs, providing high-quality visuals.

As the name suggests, the PS5 Slim boasts a reduction in weight of 25 per cent and occupies around 30 per cent less space. The disc version measures 358×96×216 mm and weighs 3.2 kg, while the PS5 Digital Edition Slim measures 358 × 80 × 216 mm and weighs 2.6kgs.
