Airtel Digital TV Offering HD Connection At Rs. 699: How To Enroll For Connection
Airtel is one of the popular DTH operators in India, and now it is offering an option to upgrade to HD networks. The company is providing this offer to its SD set-top box users, where users will get HD network by paying Rs. 699. Initially, users have to pay Rs. 150 extra for the service. Besides, users can opt for HD and SD channels directly to the Airtel Xstream box. However, upgrading from the Airtel Xsteam box will be costlier. In terms of pricing, users have to pay Rs. 1,999 along with Rs. 250 for an engineer visit, if they go through this procedure.
The company has also announced 30 days of free subscription and free installations to all new customers. According to Airtel, the new digital TV connection will provide 30 days free subscription, and customers do not need to pay anything to Airtel for the installations. However, there is a catch. Customers have to pay for engineer charges.
The company is offering many DTH packs to new users starting at Rs. 271 and goes up to Rs. 329. After selecting the pack, the company will ask for your mobile number for further process. Apart from that, the company has announced several packs for Sports like Value Sports Pack, Dabbang Sports Pack, Value Sports Pack Lite and so on. For the unaware, these packs are available for subscription via its website or mobile app.
However, Airtel is not the only one who is offering such benefits. The other big players like Tata Sky and Dish TV also provides the same offers to their existing users. But, now it seems that Airtel is all set to give tough competition to other DTH operators by offering such schemes. So, we believe that this plan by the company will attract people, as the company is not charging a big amount for the upgrade.
