Blaupunkt Sigma 40-Inch Smart Android TV Launched At Affordable Price in India

Blaupunkt is set to launch a new TV in its Sigma range - a 40-Inch Smart Android TV priced below Rs 15,000. The company is set to launch this new TV in collaboration with Flipkart, and it'll be unveiled and available for sale during Flipkart's Big Saving Days Sale, starting May 4.

In February, Blaupunkt launched its Sigma 24-inch Smart TV. With several upgrades specifications and features, the new TV has an affordable price tag. Let's take a closer look.

Blaupunkt Sigma 40-Inch Smart Android TV: Specifications

The latest in the Sigma series features an Air Slim profile. The 40-inch LED display is bezel-less. The screen has a HD resolution coupled with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 300 nits, the TV offers a good viewing experience.

When it comes to audio, the new 40-inch Smart TV has two 40W stereo box speakers.The sound quality boasts of Dolby Digital Plus and DTS TruSurround technology.

The Blaupunkt Sigma 40-Inch Smart Android TV is powered by an Amlogic quad-core processor with Mali G31 GPU. Additionally, the TV comes loaded with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage.

Being a Smart TV, it also comes with Google Assistant, built-in Chromecast, and Play Store, to enable downloading of apps.

It runs on Android TV, and thus is compatible with laptops, mobile devices, and PCs. The Blaupunkt Sigma 40-Inch Smart Android TV comes with a bundled remote that supports voice control.

When it comes to connectivity, the TV has options of three HDMI ports, two USB ports, RF input, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

The TV will be available on Flipkart as a part of their Big Saving Days sale starting May 4. The company has priced the Smart Android TV at Rs 13,499, making it one of the most affordable options in this range. Additionally, users can use several bank discounts to get the TV at an even lower cost.
