Bose announces SoundTouch wireless speakers with inbuilt Bluetooth and Wi-Fi

Bose has announced 3 new additions to its SoundTouch series of wireless speaker systems. All three new speakers are aimed at making for a richer listening experience and designed for home use.

All three new speakers in the SoundTouch series have in built Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The Bluetooth speakers allow users to connect their tablet, smartphone or just about any Bluetooth enabled device to play music or stream audio.

While using Wi-Fi, the same audio can be played across multiple devices of the SoundTouch speakers at your home. The device support 802.11n Wi-Fi along with support for dual-bands. The SoundTouch app allows user to control the speakers from a compatible smartphone or tablet.

The smallest of the series is the SoundTouch 10 wireless system. It is relatively smaller to similar speakers offered by competitors and offers much better performance than speakers of a similar size. This is primarily due to the Unidome transducer coupled with Bose's own digital signal processing used in the SoundTouch 10. It comes at a retail price of Rs. 19,013.

Bose also announced the 3rd generation of its series 20 and series 30 speakers. The third generation speakers, SoundTouch 20 III and SoundTouch 30 III are priced at Rs. 33,638 and Rs. 57,263 respectively.

Additionally, Bose also announced new soundbars and home theater systems, namely the SoundTouch 120 and SoundTouch 130 soundbars. A home theater system, SoundTouch 520 5.1 was also launched and is retailed at a price starting from Rs. 1,10,138.
