LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company has already opened a new era of innovation in the TV market, creating pioneering technologies like OLED TV and implementing an intuitive operating system to allow customers to experience the full benefits of smart TV technology.
While LG is committed to improving customers' lives with innovative home entertainment products, the company has now has unveiled two new 4K monitors. The announcement comes ahead of CES 2017.
Featuring an elegant and eye-catching profile, the 32-inch monitor which has been dubbed as model 32UD99 has ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides giving it a borderless design feel.
Besides, it looks to deliver a captivating experience for users watching movies, playing games or multitasking. LG's 32-inch UHD 4K monitor (model 32UD99) with 3840 x 2160 resolution also supports the HDR10 standard. As such, it will deliver enhanced brightness levels, more shadow detail and a wider color gamut for an exceptionally true-to-life image.
Additionally, with the availability of a new generation of HDR-capable game consoles, the 32UD99 looks to meet the increasing demands of players around the world. The monitor will also sport USB-C port for ease in connectivity with laptops, especially MacBooks.
The advanced USB Type-C port will allow users to stream images to a 4K display, charge a connected laptop and execute data transfers simultaneously, all with a single cable to help reduce clutter and add to its streamlined appearance. Furthermore, the monitor features built-in speakers that will pack a punch with LG's Rich Bass technology.
LG has also unveiled a 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide 4K monitor (model 34UM79M) which expands the overall screen size. Moreover, LG has said that the 34UM79M is the world's first Chromecast-enabled multimedia monitor which will allow users to seamlessly stream their favorite movies, music, games and more from a mobile device directly to the monitor.
LG's UltraWide monitor will allow owners to simultaneously multitask between the PC and the mobile device using a single screen. Further boosting productivity, the 34UM79M has Dual Controller Plus feature which will allow users to control both the PC and a smartphone/tablet via a single keyboard and mouse.
LG has stated that the company will be showcasing the monitors at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next month. Pricing and availability will also be detailed at CES.
