Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 55-Inch 2020 Edition Smart TV Launched For Rs. 34,999

Xiaomi has launched the Mi TV 4X 55-inch 4K TV in India without much fanfare. Notably, this launch has been made right ahead of the Black Friday sale, wherein a lot of online retailers and brands are showering users with discounts and offers.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 55-inch 2020 Edition is the latest offering to be added to the already existing list of smart TVs in the country. It is positioned above the Mi TV 4X 50-inch 4K TV and runs PatchWall OS as the other Mi smart TVs.

The new Mi TV 4X 55-inch model is priced at Rs. 34,999 and will go on sale for the first time on December 2, 2019 at 12 PM via Amazon India, Mi.com and Mi Home stores. Notably, this is the last day of the Black Friday Sale hosted by Xiaomi. For the uninitiated, the 50-inch Mi TV 4X TV was launched for Rs. 29,999.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 55-inch 2020 Edition Smart TV features a 55-inch 4K HDR display as its name indicates. This display comes with the company's proprietary Vivid Picture Engine, which ensures to deliver balanced saturation, color, and contrast for a better viewing experience. There is also support for 20W Dolby Atmos sound with DTS HD support.

The smart TV runs Android TV 9.0 topped with the company's PatchWall 2.0 OS. It is preloaded with a slew of video streaming platforms such as Netflix, Hotstar, Prime Video and other content partners. There are seven live news channels and handy features such as Google Data Saver and Google Assistant.

Given that Xiaomi is a strong player in the smart TV market segment in India and has recorded over 6 lakh units of smart TV sales this Diwali season, the launch of the Mi TV 4X 55-inch 2020 Edition is believed to help the brand strengthen its presence.
