Vivo X200 Ultra, X200s Launching Today: How to Watch? What to Expect?
Vivo is all set to unveil its latest flagship smartphones-the Vivo X200 Ultra and Vivo X200s-today, April 21, at 4:30 PM IST (7:00 PM CST). The launch event will be livestreamed on Vivo's official Weibo account, which is the go-to platform for most of the brand's announcements in China.
Alongside the smartphones, Vivo is also expected to introduce the Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Vivo Pad SE, and the Vivo Watch 5, expanding its product ecosystem.

Vivo X200 Ultra: A Camera That Happens to Be a Phone
The X200 Ultra brings a bold design language with three color options: red, silver, and black. The red variant stands out with a leather-like finish, while the silver edition features vertical stripes running down the back. The rear houses a large, raised Zeiss-branded triple-camera module, while the front is expected to include a quad-curved OLED display, continuing Vivo's signature aesthetic for high-end phones.
Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It's also set to feature a 6,000mAh silicon carbon battery, supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Imaging is the key focus here. The Ultra includes a 50MP Sony LYT-818 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope camera using new prism technology. It also includes two dedicated image processors-VS1 and V3+-to enhance computational photography. There's even a dedicated camera shortcut button, a detail inspired by devices like the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
For video, the phone supports 4K at 60fps with 10-bit Log and cinematic 4K at 120fps, appealing to content creators. Additional features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
Vivo X200s: Flat Display, Familiar Specs
The Vivo X200s is expected to cater to those who prefer a cleaner, more compact design. It will feature a flat 6.67-inch BOE Q10 display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, framed by ultra-slim bezels. Color options include Soft Purple, Mint Purple, White, and Black.

The X200s is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with at least 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The battery is slightly larger at 6,200mAh, supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope lens (LYT-600) with 3x zoom. The phone offers focal lengths ranging from 15mm to 70mm, with aperture values between f/1.57 and f/2.57. Like the Ultra, it includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68/IP69 certification.
Pricing Expectations
While Vivo hasn't confirmed prices yet, earlier models offer some context. The X100 Ultra launched at CNY 6,499 (approx. ₹75,000), and the X100s at CNY 3,999 (approx. ₹46,200). The X200 series is likely to fall in a similar range, though official pricing will be revealed during the event.
However, we don't expect either model to launch in India or globally.
