How to disable apps from spying on your activities?
Some of the apps that you download spy on your activities, and it’s not safe.
Whenever you install an app on your device, you give permissions to access many things. As a result, you end giving up on your privacy. These apps spy on your activities, and it’s not safe. Your confidentiality should always be protected no matter what.
Forget about other apps but can you survive without using Google apps along with the search engine? The answer is no, of course. And do you know that Google tracks each move that you make? Google knows about the sites that you are visiting, the videos that you are watching, the ads that you are clicking and your location.
How can you stop Google and other apps from spying on your activities?
The very thing that you need to do is open My Activity, sign in with your Gmail account and delete your entire history. You can also manually delete each activity, but then, it would take ages to do that. Now, turn off tracking. For doing that, open the menu button placed at the top, and then click on Activity controls. You will be able to see the following six sections:
• Web & App Activity
• Location History
• YouTube Search History
• Device Information
• YouTube Watch History
• Voice and Audio Activity
Toggle off everything from preventing Google from tracking you.
How to stop other apps from spying on your activities?
When you download an app from the Play Store, you need to give specific permission to that app for installing it. Most of the time, we blindly click on "Install" without checking the access that we are giving to that app. Don't do that. Carefully review the permission that the app is seeking, deny permit if you think they are trying to pry into your phone.
Also, install a proper mobile security application to make sure that no unattended activities are going on your smartphone. Keep on clearing the cache of the app and uninstall the apps that you are doubtful about.
Wrap Up
You need to protect your privacy from the spying apps. For that, try installing apps from the official stores only and know about the permissions that you are giving to that app. Uninstall an app that behaves abnormally and also, don't forget to install a security app on your smartphone.
