Xiaomi MIUI 8: Top 5 Hidden Tips and Tricks Which You May Like
Recently, Xiaomi has rolled out its latest MIUI update in India recently to all its devices. While some devices, including Redmi 1S, Mi 2/2S, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 3G, Redmi Note 4G got the software update, other devices will receive the update gradually.
The MIUI 8 comes with new colors in system app UI including Phone, Dialer, Calendar, Contacts. The company has changed the notification bar as well the drop down bar in the white background similar to iOS. If you have already installed the MIUI 8, you can try the below tricks to make the most out of it.

Hide your apps
If you want to keep some of your apps private from others, this trick is going to help you for sure. All you need to do is to go to beta features in the additional settings and head on to the option called app invisible. Select the app you want to hide!
Shake it to arrange it!
Sometimes we all get irritated, when there are lots of apps on the display screen getting arranged randomly after installation. Now arrange the apps just by few shakes.

Two finger notification swipe
This works well when you just want to sneak on the notification. All you need to do is to just swipe your fingers to expand the notifications. Moreover, there is an option to reply directly as well.
Tap and hold notification toggles
The latest MIUI update comes with a whole new notification panel with white shades, where the options/toggle are arranged in a line similar to iPhone. If you want to access the page of the toggle just press and hold on to the notification toggle for 3 to 4 seconds to access the full setting of the page.
Protect your messages and files
The MIUI 8 has a private messaging and hidden file feature integrated within its default app. Now it gives you the option to set the password to prevent your data.
In order to do this, head on to the apps and swipe the screen downwards till the private section appears. Follow the steps thereafter!
