The buzz around Reliance Jio hasn't gone yet with several users still trying to get their hands on a new Jio 4G card and failing miserably due to some stock issues at the Reliance Digital Store's end.
Having said this, several users have been trying their best to get a Jio SIM card, and they are ending up posting on social media about the issue. Now, the biggest problem is the stock issue, and the other one is the miscommunication between the Reliance Digital Stores.
Some of the stores are still asking for barcode extracted via 'MyJio' app, which is understandable as the service is made official in only two states- Mumbai and Delhi. Now, the requirement asked by some stores is that the user needs to carry a 4G supported smartphone to grab the Jio 4G SIM.
Do you own a Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016), and failed to get a Reliance Jio 4G SIM card? Then, follow the below steps to get a Jio SIM card.
Step 1: Download 'MyJo' App
As said earlier, you need to generate a bar code to grab your own Reliance Jio 4G SIM card. To do that, download the 'MyJio' app from Google Play Store and proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Hit on 'Get Jio SIM.'
After downloading MyJio app from Play Store, you need to open the application for further process. After opening, you can see an option called 'Get Jio SIM,' just hit on it and proceed further.
Step 3: Verify Your Mobile Number
The next step is to verify your mobile number, which is a mandatory step. Previously, many people used to bypass this mobile verification, but Reliance patched that a month ago. However, the best part is you can use the same number unlimited times.
Step 4: Generate a Bar Code
Once you're done with verifying your mobile number, just follow the on-screen steps to create a barcode, which can be used to get a Jio 4G SIM card.
Step 5: Visit Nearest Reliance Digital Store
Now, you need to visit the nearest Reliance Digital store to get your Jio 4G SIM. You can locate the nearest Reliance Store by referring to this article.
Step 6: Tele-Verify Your Number
The final step is to tele-verify your activated Jio SIM card. You can do that by calling to 1977. Please make sure that you're calling 1977 itself as it enables both data and voice call services on your SIM.
