Where is Google Assistant’s Stored Voice Data located: Find and Delete
It's a known fact that Google almost records everything we search, the route we commute and also stores the recording of the command you give to Google Assistant. These files are accessible from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. In this case, the recordings last around 10-20 seconds on average, and a text version of the conversation is saved.
If you are feeling a bit creepy about it, don't worry, you can delete it manually. As per Google, it keeps tracking your activities just to show enhance the user experience for the next time. In order to find your recording, follow the below steps.
How to find Google Assistant recording
Step 1: Firstly, head on to Google's My Activity page (https://myactivity.google.com/) and sign in to that with your Gmail ID.
Step 2: The home page shows you different data including Ads to YouTube. If you want to see the entire list, you can do or if you need a specific portion, you can choose "Filter by date & product".
Step 3: Once you select it, you will have lots of options in the drop down box list.
Step 4: In that choose the "Assistant," and "Voice & Audio". Once you select it, click the search button.
Step 5: Now you will get all the activity through the results. You can listen to your recordings as you go by clicking the "Play" button beside any audio files.
How to delete Google Assistant recording
Step 1: You can delete the recording in two ways. First is to manually delete all the recording one by one, which is a tedious process and takes ages. Second is to click the "Delete Activity By" link in the left side menu.
Step 2:
Now choose the date from the drop-down or choose a custom range using the date boxes. From "All Products" drop-down, choose the category of items you'd like to delete, and then click the "Delete" button
