From that point, many users struggled to open the App Store or complete downloads. Others could reach the store, but purchases failed or stalled. Apple TV also showed intermittent issues, where streams would not start or channels refused to load.

Apple confirmed to MacRumors that some customers might not access specific services or complete purchases. The Apple TV Channels feature is among the affected tools. People reported difficulty streaming subscribed content or even loading channel pages inside the Apple TV app. Because these services sit at the centre of Apple’s media experience, entertainment plans for many households were interrupted.

Apple later updated the System Status page at 8:15 pm Eastern Time, or 6:45 am IST. The company said the outage had extended beyond media and storefront products. iWork for iCloud started showing problems, along with Xcode Cloud and Apple Maps Traffic. These additions indicate that cloud infrastructure, developer operations and navigation data are also seeing disruption, not only entertainment features.
