Elon Musk freaks-out, calls Mark Zuckerberg a ‘cuck’ amid Threads’ sporadic growth
Elon Musk is continuing his spat with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg amid the release of the new Threads app. The app has seen a surge in users in the past couple of days, reaching five million users in just five days.
However, Musk hasn't taken kindly with the development of the Instagram companion app, which is a direct competitor to Twitter. Since the release of the Threads app, Musk has been engaged in a war of words with Zuckerberg on Twitter.

War of Words
But the Tesla CEO recently hit an all-new low with a recent tweet, where he called Zuckerberg a "cuck". Responding to a tweet from fast-food restaurant Wendy's, Musk tweeted, "Zuck is a cuck".
Zuckerberg irked the ire of Musk, when he responded to a tweet by the fast-food restaurant saying he "should go to space just to really make him mad lol." To which the Facebook founder responded with a laughing emoji.
But Musk didn't stop there, going on to further propose a "literal dick measuring contest." The recent remarks from Tesla CEO appear rather juvenile, although he did confirm reports about a lawsuit against Meta-owned Threads.
Musk threatens Threads with Legal Action
Expressing his stance in the matter, Musk noted that "Competition is fine, cheating is not." He also cited instances of violation of "intellectual property rights" in a letter to Zuckerberg via his lawyer Alex Spiro.
The SpaceX CEO has also accused him of "unlawful misappropriation of Twitter's trade secrets and other intellectual property." Since Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, the platform has faced competition from various contenders, such as Mastodon and Bluesky.
The emergence of Meta's Threads app adds another layer to this battle for social media supremacy. Moreover, Threads sporadic growth highlights Musk's mismanagement at the helm of Twitter.
