Excitel Unveils Broadband Plan With 300+ TV Channels and 22+ OTT Apps for Rs 719 per Month

Excitel has introduced a new broadband plan that could potentially replace traditional cable TV setups. Priced at Rs 719 per month, this plan offers a year-long validity and includes 300+ TV channels, 22+ OTT apps, and 300Mbps data. This comprehensive package is designed to compete with similar offerings from Jio and Airtel.

The Excitel Cable Cutter Plan provides users with 300Mbps broadband data, which comes with a Wi-Fi router. It also includes unlimited local and STD landline voice calls, provided the user has a landline phone. Additionally, the plan offers access to over 300 live TV channels and 22+ OTT app subscriptions.

Among the OTT apps included are Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, Zee5, ALTBalaji, Sun NXT, Aha Telugu, Ditto TV, ShemarooMe, DocuBay, PlayFlix, ShortsTV, AaoNext, FanCode, Idhayam, Stage, IceStream, OTT Play, ETV Win, BigFlix, and Epic ON. Users can consume OTT content on mobiles, laptops, and tablets while live TV will be available on TVs.

The plan costs Rs 719 per month if users opt for the 12-month validity option. For a shorter duration of three months, the cost rises to Rs 1119 per month. A six-month validity option is also available at Rs 769 per month. The monthly cost decreases as the validity period increases.

Availability

Currently, Excitel's plans are available in major cities like Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. The service will soon be extended to Chennai as well. This new offering aims to provide a comprehensive solution for users looking to cut their cable TV connections while enjoying high-speed internet and extensive entertainment options.
