Excitel Introduces Monsoon Offer with High-Speed Internet and Extensive TV/OTT Access

Excitel has made waves in the cable TV market with a plan priced at ₹349. This plan includes 200 Mbps speed data, access to over 300 live TV channels, and subscriptions to more than 16 OTT platforms. Additionally, customers get 90 days of free service if they subscribe by August 4th.

Excitel's Monsoon Offer provides three months of complimentary service. The plan includes free installation of Wi-Fi routers and Android boxes. The ₹349 plan from Excitel offers 200 Mbps Wi-Fi data speeds. It also includes subscriptions to over 300 live TV channels and more than 16 OTT platforms, such as SonyLiv and Shemaroo. This comprehensive package aims to compete with existing players like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

Excitel's New Offer: High-Speed Internet and TV/OTT Access

Customers who choose this plan will receive three months of free 200 Mbps speed data and nine months of free OTT and TV channel subscriptions. However, they must pay for six months upfront, which totals ₹3,600. With the Monsoon Offer, this amount covers nine months of service.

Breaking down the cost, paying ₹3,699 (including GST) provides nine months of 200 Mbps Wi-Fi data, OTT subscriptions, and TV channel access. This equates to just ₹349 per month for all these benefits, including free installation.

This Monsoon Offer is exclusively for new customers and is not available to existing ones. Excitel services are accessible in cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Mumbai, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam, and Vijayawada. However, the Monsoon Offer has not been announced in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, or Karnataka.

It's evident that cable TV has been on the decline since OTT platforms gained popularity. Companies like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have already reduced cable TV usage by bundling OTT subscriptions with their Wi-Fi plans. Now, Excitel's competitive pricing aims to challenge these companies further.

This Monsoon Offer plan is advantageous in many ways. To benefit from it, customers must subscribe by August 4th. After this date, the offer will only be valid for six months as per Excitel's terms.
