Google Introduces AI-Powered Grammar Checker to Google Search: Here’s How It Works
Google has once again raised the bar for search engine functionality with its latest addition: an AI-powered grammar checker. This feature, available to both desktop and mobile users of Google Search, ensures that the sentences and phrases entered into the search box are grammatically accurate.
How the Grammar Checker Works
The AI-based grammar checker diligently examines the input sentence or phrase and provides corrected versions if they are grammatically incorrect. If the sentence is accurate, the tool displays the top search result with a reassuring green checkmark, indicating that there are no grammatical errors.

It is important to note that, at present, this feature exclusively supports the English language. However, there are expectations that Google will soon expand its language support to cater to a broader audience.
Limitations of the Grammar Checker
While the grammar checker is a significant step forward in refining search accuracy, Google acknowledges that it may not achieve 100% accuracy, especially when dealing with incomplete sentences entered in the search box. Despite the automation of the grammar check, it might occasionally fail to appear in some instances.

Moreover, Google has laid out specific conditions under which the grammar check will not function. These include sentences or queries containing dangerous content, harassment, hate speech, medical information, sexually explicit material, terrorist content, violence, gore, and other sensitive topics. These limitations are in place to ensure a safe and respectful online environment.
User Feedback and Improvement
To continuously improve the system's accuracy and performance, Google actively encourages users to provide feedback on the grammar checks. A convenient "Feedback" button is located in the bottom right corner of the grammar check result box.
Users can select from various feedback categories, such as "This is helpful," "This isn't relevant," "Suggestion is incorrect," and "Suggestion is offensive." They are also invited to include their comments or suggestions and submit them with a simple click on "Send."
How To Use Grammar Check
Google Search's grammar check is primarily an automated process designed to present users with corrected results when it detects grammatical errors. However, as with any automated system, it might not be foolproof and could have occasional limitations.
To initiate the grammar check manually, users can include the phrases "check grammar" or "grammar check" in their sentences. This option allows users to double-check their grammar and ensure that their queries yield the most accurate results.
