Google Will Soon Allow You to Find Toilets Around You!

    Google is working on a new project called ‘Google Toilet Locater’, which apparently helps you to find nearby toilets based on your location.


    Google is vying big in India. In less than 24 hours after introducing the Nearby ATM Finder feature, another news pops online saying that Google is working on a new project closely with Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) and might soon introduce a new 'Google Toilet Locater'.

    IBTimes report that, MoUD is working closely with the search giant and might soon release this feature, which essentially removes the hassle of people to not wait hours to look after a decent toilet nearby their location.

    Having said that, this feature works same as the nearby ATM finder ones, but which places will be listed is a big question. Well, an MoUD official speaking with IBTimes confirmed that the feature will be first taken live in Delhi NCR region and she said that not only public restrooms are included, but also the rest rooms from metro stations, petrol pumps, and hospitals.

    The feature will be live for people of NCR first and it can be used by opening Google Maps and search for nearby toilets. The procedure to find a toilet is same as the procedure on how we used to find nearby ATM's.

    As of now, the feature will be available only for Delhi NCR and later it will be rolled out to other 2,041 urban cities of India.
