OpenAI has acquired Chat.com, a domain with a long-standing presence on the internet since its registration in 1996. From now on, visitors to Chat.com will be redirected to ChatGPT, OpenAI's well-known AI chatbot. An OpenAI representative later confirmed the purchase in an email to TechCrunch but did not disclose the financial details involved.
