Microsoft Surface Event: Here Are All the Copilot Plus PCs Announced
Microsoft's recent Surface event unveiled a new era of AI-powered computing with Copilot Plus PCs. Alongside its own Surface devices, Microsoft is partnering with major manufacturers to bring Copilot Plus to a wider audience. Here's a breakdown of the announced Copilot Plus laptops.
HP OmniBook X AI and EliteBook Ultra AI
HP has revamped its laptop lineup with the introduction of the OmniBook and EliteBook Ultra, replacing the Envy, Pavilion, and Dragonfly series. The OmniBook is aimed at consumers while the EliteBook Ultra is business-oriented. Both laptops come equipped with a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite processor. While the EliteBook is limited to 16GB of memory, the OmniBook caters to multitaskers with support for up to 32GB.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge
Samsung is joining the fray with three Galaxy Book4 Edge models - a 14-inch version and two 16-inch options. All three come equipped with Snapdragon X Elite processors for AI-powered performance, stunning 2880 x 1800 AMOLED touchscreens, and 16GB of RAM.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x 14 and ThinkPad 14s
Lenovo is bringing Copilot Plus to its popular ThinkPad and Yoga lines. The Yoga Slim 7x 14 offers a more budget-friendly option with a Snapdragon X Elite processor and an OLED display. It supports up to 32GB of memory. Business users can opt for the ThinkPad 14s, which also boasts an OLED display but can handle up to 64GB of memory.
Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Laptop 6
Microsoft is showcasing its own Copilot Plus offerings with the updated Surface Pro and Surface Laptop 6. The Surface Pro features either the Snapdragon X Elite or X Plus chip, with optional 5G connectivity and a choice between IPS and OLED displays for enhanced visuals. The Surface Laptop 6 follows suit with the same processor options, offering up to 64GB of memory and 1TB of storage.
Dell XPS 13, Inspiron 14 Plus, and Latitude 7455
Dell is joining the party with five Copilot Plus PCs this year. The XPS 13 offers a mid-tier Snapdragon X Elite chip, with configurations reaching up to 64GB of memory and a whopping 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. It also boasts a choice of three displays, including an OLED touchscreen for the most vibrant visuals.
The Inspiron 14 Plus features a Snapdragon X Plus chip, supports up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage, and comes with a single IPS touchscreen display. For business users, the Dell Latitude 7455 provides both Snapdragon X Elite and Plus options, alongside support for up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage.
Acer Swift 14 AI
The Swift 14 AI stands out from other Swift 14 models by packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon X series processor, offering either the 12-core X Elite or 10-core X Plus chip. It boasts up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage for demanding tasks.
Asus Vivobook S 15
Asus is entering the Copilot Plus arena with the Vivobook S 15. It features two processor options: the 12-core Snapdragon X Elite and the 10-core X Plus, both supporting up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of speedy PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
Availability
These Copilot Plus laptops are all available for pre-order in the States but a dedicated Indian launch window is not out yet. These laptops are expected to start shipping on June 18th, 2024.
