The new 16-inch MacBook Pro image shows the Touch ID sensor independently placed on the top-right corner of the keyboard. Unlike its predecessors, the sensor is split from the Touch Bar, notes a new report by the Cult of Mac. The report also notes that the production of the 16-inch MacBook Pro has already kick-started.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro is also believed to have a revamped keyboard. It is believed that Apple will be swapping out the butterfly keyboard mechanism found in the older MacBook devices. Instead, the device will include a scissor-switch mechanism, the report speculates.
Apple 16-Inch MacBook Pro Features
Features like a 3072x1920 pixels resolution display and more are expected from the upcoming laptop. The leaked report also speculates that the MacBook Pro will likely be powered by a revised Intel Coffee Lake-H mobile processor series.
Also, the leaked image suggests the device will have the same physical size as the 15-inch MacBook Pro. However, the new MacBook Pro will feature narrower bezel sizes and make way for a larger display.
Prior to this report, an earlier leaked image had claimed that Apple will pack a 96W USB-C charger for its 16-inch MacBook Pro. In comparison, the previously launched 13-inch MacBook Pro shipped with a 61W USB-C adapter and the 15-inch MacBook Pro packed an 87W adapter.
