Apple’s First Touchscreen MacBook Pro Could Go On Sale November 6, Says Gurman
Apple's first MacBook Pro with a touchscreen could go on sale as early as November 6. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said on his latest podcast that Apple plans to unveil the new OLED MacBook Pro models on October 27 or 28, with sales likely starting the following week.
According to Gurman, Apple retail stores have a "big floor reset" scheduled for the night of Thursday, November 5, running into November 6. That kind of store overhaul usually happens when new products are about to hit the shelves, which makes a November 6 launch date likely.

No big keynote, but a creator showcase in LA
Apple is not expected to hold a traditional live-streamed event for the new Macs. Earlier reports said the company is planning a two-day showcase for content creators in Los Angeles on October 27 and 28. Gurman said Apple will "do something" and will at least put out product videos.
The touchscreen MacBook Pro is just one part of Apple's busy October launch calendar. Gurman has also pointed to an OLED iPad mini, an M6 iMac and an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip arriving around the same time.
Same M5 chips, new OLED screen
Do not expect a chip upgrade on the touchscreen models. Apple is reportedly sticking with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips already used in the current MacBook Pro. The big change is the OLED display with touch support, a feature Apple resisted on Macs for years.
The OLED models are expected to sit above the existing mini-LED MacBook Pro as a pricier option, rather than replace it. Gurman had earlier suggested they could be branded "MacBook Ultra", but he has since said they will stay under the MacBook Pro name.
Apple has not confirmed any of these plans. There is also no word yet on pricing or when the new MacBook Pro will reach India.
