Asus ROG G703 and TUF Gaming FX504 laptops launched, Plans to expand retail presence in India
The price of "FX504" starts at Rs 69,990 while "ROG G703" is priced at Rs 4,99,990.
With an aim to expand its reach in India, Taiwanese tech giant Asus is now planning to expand its retail presence in the country.
"At present, we have only 80 exclusive stores in India but by the end of this year, we are planning to increase this number to 160," Leila Lin, Country Product Manager of Asus India told GizBot.
The company already has more than 50 SKUs in India and during the interaction with GizBot the company's representative also said that they will be launching 10 more products by the end of this year.
Asus has also joined hands with Paytm Mall to launch Vivobook X507 priced at Rs 21,990. By partnering with Paytm Mall, Asus is trying to combine both its offline and online channels for selling its products
Under its partnership with Paytm Mall, Asus would be enabling offline stores with its innovative "Digital Experience Zone" and Paytm Mall QR, encouraging customers to order Asus products from within the store.
Meanwhile, Asus on Monday launched the "FX 504 TUF GAMING" and "ROG G703" devices in India.
The price of "FX504" starts at Rs 69,990 while "ROG G703" is priced at Rs 4,99,990.
The FX504 is the first laptop in the new "TUF Gaming" series and is powered by the latest 8th-Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor. Suitable for gaming, the device runs NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics with full "Microsoft DirectX" 12 support.
The laptop comes with a 15-inch FHD IPS display with an ultra-fast 120Hz refresh rate and 3ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time.
The ROG G703 is powered by the hexa-core Intel i9 processor and sports a 17.3-inch FHD IPS display with 144Hz high refresh rate with 3ms GTG response time and NVIDIA G-SYNC support to ensure seamless graphics.
Commenting on the launch of the latest gaming laptops, Arnold Su, Business Development Manager, ASUS India said: "We take immense pride in introducing intuitive technology like TUF GAMING and latest i9 processor in our newest 8th gen editions lined up."
He said: "The updated range of gaming laptops combines robust performance accompanied with durability to deliver extreme reliability to the consumer. We aim to provide gamers with the best of both worlds enabling them to game at their best."
