Touted as the most powerful and smallest of its kind, the laptop is powered by Intel's 8th generation processors along with AMD's Radeon RX Vega M graphics. As claimed by Dell, the entire motherboard size has been reduced by about 50 percent. The device is fitted with a 15.6-inch InfinityEdge 4K Ultra HD display with 100 percent RGB color gamut.

Just 16mm in height, the XPS 15 2-in-1 has a MagLev keyboard, which uses magnets instead of scissor or rubber dome designs to give users haptic feedback from a full-size full travel keyboard but in a more portable form. The laptop ships with Dell's Active Pen stylus, and it has inbuilt magnets so the Active Pen be mounted and carried anywhere.

As for the battery life, the XPS 15 2-in-1 is claimed to last up to 15 hours on a single charge. The laptop will be available for purchase from April in the US. It will carry a price tag of $1,299 (around Rs. 82,700).
