Exclusive: MSI To Open Two Stores In India, Eyeing 20% Market Share
After opening six experience stores in India, MSI is now all set to open two stores this year in India. The company's regional marketing manager, Green Chang-Ching Lin shared few details with Gizbot about future strategies during an exclusive interaction.
Shedding light on the upcoming stores, Green informed us that MSI is planning to open two more stores in 2019 in India. "We will add two more stores in the country," Green told Gizbot. Adding to that, "We will be opening one more store in Delhi by the end of this month, and another one will be in Hyderabad." At present, MSI has six stores in Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Coimbatore, and Lucknow.
Apart from opening experiential stores in India, the company is planning to hire more people to strengthen its market presence in the country. "We have a team of 15 people in our Mumbai office, but now we are planning to add more people. So that we can increase our offline presence in the country," MSI, general manager India, Frank Hsu told Gizbot.
Meanwhile, the company is looking at a 20 percent market share in the gaming laptops, and plans add 10 SKUs in 2020 in India.
MSI Launches New Content Creation Series Laptops In India
On the other hand, the company has launched a new 'Content Creation' series at the starting price of Rs. 59,990, which goes all the way up to Rs. 2,69,990. The new line up of the laptop will be available exclusively on Flipkart. The Taiwanese company has introduced many features with the new series such as True Pixel, 4K resolution, Adobe RGB 100 percent color gamut, Delta E
Furthermore, the new laptops come with NVIDIA RTX graphics and 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processors. Besides, MSI has refreshed its existing Prestige and Modern series laptops with new processors and graphics.
