On October 4, Google unveiled its new Chromebook called Pixelbook along with Pixelbook Pen (C0B Stylus).
Within two days after the launch, the Google Pixelbook and the Pixelbook Pen are now up for pre-orders on Amazon. While customers were already able to place advanced orders on the products since the day of the launch, it was only via Google Story. You can now find both the products on Amazon with an option of free shipping for Prime members.
The Google Pixelbook and Pixelbook Pen are being offered at the same price on Amazon as it was announced by Google. For the pricing, the Pixelbook starts at $999 for the base variant with Kaby Lake processor with 128GB storage and $1,199 for the 256GB variant. The high-end variant with Core i7 processor is priced at $1,699.
While the Pixelbook Pen carries a price tag of $99.
Talking about the features and specifications, the Pixelbook is the thinnest and lightest laptop to be launched by Google till date. It weighs in at 1.1kg and measures 10.33mm in thickness.
This new laptop can be turned into a tablet as it has rotatable hinges to spin it around 360 degrees. The 2-in-1 laptop from Google is integrated with AI software and hardware that makes the device capable of AI deep learning capability. Also, the laptop has the Google Assistant and can be accessed using the voice command "OK Google" or pressing the dedicated Assistant key.
The Google Pixelbook is offered in three variants with different processors, RAM, and storage capacities. The base one has an Intel Kaby Lake Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space. There is another variant with the same processor and RAM and 256GB storage capacity. The highest variant boasts of an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage capacity.
Google claims that the Pixelbook has a durable battery that can last up to 10 hours. Moreover, the battery comes with fast charging support giving it 2 hours and 15 minutes of backup quickly.
