RedmiBook 13 To Be Launched Along With Redmi K30 On December 10
Redmi K30 is all set to be unveiled on December 10 in China. Alongside this smartphone, it looks like the company will also launch a few other devices including the RedmiBook 13. This is not the first laptop from the brand as it has already launched the RedmiBook 14 and RedmiBook 14 Pro a few months back.
It is believed that the RedmiBook 13 will retain the same design language as the RedmiBook 14 lineup, except for new display size. What's more interesting is that the e-commerce platform JD.com has already started accepting pre-orders for the RedmiBook 13. However, there is no word on the pricing of the device.
RedmiBook 13 Launch Date Confirmed
As per a post by the official Redmi Weibo handle, the RedmiBook 13 will be launched in China on December 10. Besides the launch date, the brand also shared an image showing a glimpse of the new RedmiBook. It appears to have thin borders at the top, bottom, and sides unlike the newly launched Huawei MateBook D15 and MateBook D14.
Taking a dig at Huawei's recent offerings, Redmi claims to have reduced the width of the bottom bezel of the upcoming RedmiBook. This way, the company will be able to give a full-screen experience.
Adding to this, the Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing compared the new RedmiBook with Huawei notebooks via his Weibo post. He noted that the Redmi team redesigned the circuit board components and customized the display to provide narrow bezels.
What We Think
As of now, there is no word regarding the internal specifications of the RedmiBook 13. However, we can expect it to be on par with the rivals in the industry just like its predecessors besides being affordable.
Apart from RedmiBook 13, the company is expected to launch a few other products including a smart speaker, IoT devices, and more. As the launch date is nearing, we can expect to get more updates regarding upcoming products from the company.
