Windows 10x OS Features Leaked Online; Will Support Dual-Screen Devices
Microsoft announced a new custom Windows 10 OS for touch and foldable devices called the Windows 10x during the launch of new surface devices. Now, the briefing document of the same has been leaked online hinting towards some of the features that one can expect from the OS.

Originally Made For Surface Neo Devices
The Windows 10x was originally designed for Microsoft's own dual-screen devices called the Surface Neo. The leaked document now hints that the OS will also be available for other dual-screen devices from third-party manufacturers.
The Surface Neo is a prototype device from Microsoft with a dual foldable display design. Unlike the Galaxy Fold, the Surface Neo has two displays fused to make it into a single device.
New UI
The Windows 10x comes with a new UI compared to the standard OS. The software will support Windows Hello facial recognition for easy and secure login. Besides, there will be an option to set a pin code as a password as well.
The redesigned UI hints a user-friendly action center with app recommendations and battery life indicator. As per the Microsoft Office Suite, the company is likely to use the Win32 version that is lightweight and easy to access on mobile devices with hardware limitations.
The new software will be made for full-screen bezel-less devices offering a higher screen-to-body ratio. We can expect to see devices with a tablet-like form factor to launch with Windows 10x OS.
Our Opinion On The Windows 10x OS
The Windows 10x OS seems like a lite version of the full Windows 10 OS with features built especially for devices with foldable and touch screen displays. As suggested by Microsoft the first set of devices with Windows 10x OS is likely to hit the market by 2020.
