Xiaomi may launch a new laptop with 15.6-inch display today
Th laptop has received the 3C certification hinting towards an imminent launch.
We are about an hour left from Xiaomi's much-anticipated launch event. The company is expected to unveil the Mi Mix 2 as well as the Mi Note 3 at the event.
Now, a new rumor claims Xiaomi will also introduce another device, which is not a smartphone. According to a report by the website mydrivers.com, we will get to see the unveiling of a new laptop likely to be known as Mi Notebook Pro. Some of its key specs have also been revealed. Moreover, the report says the laptop has received the 3C certification hinting towards an imminent launch.
If the report is to be believed, the Mi Notebook Pro will arrive with a large 15.6-inch full HD display with the resolution density of 1080p. Under its hood, the laptop is said to be powered by a dual-core i78550U and i58250U processor clubbed with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
It will run on Windows 10 and feature in-built MX 150 GPU with a 2G graphic capacity. Besides this, the 3C certification has revealed, the Mi Notebook Pro comes with 20V/2.25A or 20V/3.25A power adapter and theoretically, the maximum power supply of this configuration is 45W or 65W respectively.
So this means the upcoming laptop is not a gaming laptop. Moreover, the 3C certification shows the Mi Notebook Pro offers support for the 4G mobile network.
Well, currently this is all that is known about the device. Let's just wait for an hour to see whether Xiaomi launches the laptop of not.
