Just every other Realme smartphone, the Realme XT comes with a glass-look alike finish. However, the smartphone is made using plastic with a gradient design. The smartphone has a curvier design, which makes it great to hold in hand. At the front, the smartphone has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device has a water-drop notch at the top, offering higher screen to body ratio and also house an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Realme XT: Hardware Performance

The Realme XT is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE SoC and is the second smartphone from the company with the 10nm processor from Qualcomm. The device offers better performance compared to other smartphones with the 600 series chipset. The Snapdragon 712 AIE is a highly capable chipset that can handle games like PUBG at the highest graphics settings without any issues. Similarly, the device does not break a sweat while handling normal day-to-day tasks.

Realme XT: Camera Performance

The Realme XT has a quad-camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary Sensor (Samsung GW-1), which is also the first smartphone in the world with this sensor. Besides, the phone has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone comes with a 16MP selfie camera with Face Unlock support. The camera captures 16MP images in the standard mode, and the 64MP model can be accessed directly from the camera menu, which captures better details. The dedicated macro lens can take good looking macro shots in normal lighting conditions.

Realme XT: Price To Specs Ratio

As of now, there is no information on the pricing of the Realme XT in India. Considering the price of the Realme X and the Realme 5 Pro, the Realme XT is expected to cost less than Rs. 20,000 at least for the base variant with 4/6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. For the expected price, the smartphone does offer a lot of features like an AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint sensor, and a quad-camera setup.

Realme XT: Important Features/Highlights

The Realme XT's USP is the 64MP primary camera, as this is the first phone in India to use the highest resolution sensor on a smartphone. Besides, the FHD+ resolution AMOLED display makes the device great watching multi-media content on platforms like Prime Videos, Netflix, and YouTube. The device also has a 4000 mAh battery, backed by VOOC Charge 3.0, which can charge the phone quickly using the USB Type-C port. Lastly, the smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie OS with custom ColorOS 6.0 skin on top.

Realme XT: Verdict

The Realme XT is definitely one of the best smartphones that the company has made. Though it does not have fancy features like a pop-up selfie camera, the smartphone does have its own pros, which makes it great.  If you are in the market for a fancy mid-tier smartphone with features that you can brag about, then, the Realme XT could be the smartphone that can be considered.
