We have all been traveling through cabs and auto rickshaws. But some fine day while you travel, you always find that your driver is a different character altogether. It's amazing how your daily commute from home to work leads you to meet the most peculiar and interesting driver in the public transport services.
So shall we meet them?
The Quiet Ones
These kind are just too introvert. Even if you could get them to talk to you, they would just stare blankly into your face, and finally, tell you the fare (if you're lucky). Either they hate their job or they hate somebody who hates them. That's a lot of hate to handle.
The Know It All Guy
You need a talking, driving Yellow Pages? Then yes, he is the guy you need to contact. He knows everything there is to know about the city. And if you get into tight spots, he even knows 'the right guys'.
The Karaoke Singer
You won't be hearing the local radio when you enter this guys cab. You'll be listening to him sing along with the song playing on the radio. Now your experience of the journey will depend on his singing abilities.
He looks to be a harmless guy, but we end up having a Q&A session with him. Why you're in the city? Where are you staying? Things go from general topics to personal space. Most of them are dangerous blokes. But if we end up talking to the good guys, you really feel happy to have a conversation during your trip.
The Tour Guide
If you're new to the city, this is the kind of driver we need to keep close contact with. They will tell you everything there is to know about the city. Prime spots for shopping where you can get everything and still save money, to the best place to dine when you're famished. Make sure you get his contact number, sure enough, you will become great acquaintances.
The Lost One
We can't say that you need to avoid these. But if you do meet them, then, unfortunately, you are in for a lesson in anger management. These drivers are clueless about the place you need to reach. They take you places even they've never been too. The result being that you end up paying a lot for this guys mistakes.
