Akai has introduced the NXT version of its inverter air conditioners in India, adding the Nilgiree, Kaashmir and Siaachen models with the latest BEE Rating 2026. The NXT range is on sale nationwide through physical retailers and online via Akaiindia.in, with prices starting at an MRP of Rs. 35,490.

The Akai NXT inverter air conditioners target Indian homes facing rising tropical temperatures, with models built to maintain cooling performance in varied climates. Buyers can choose 1-ton, 1.5-ton and 2-ton units, offered with 3-star and 5-star efficiency labels to address different usage patterns and electricity cost expectations.
