    Shopping trends recorded on Snapdeal for the year 2016 revealed that in Kids fashion, 70% of the purchases for girls are made from the western apparel category with frocks being purchased the most followed by lehenga choli being the most preferred outfit in ethnic wear.

    Whereas for boys t-shirts and combos of 3 and 5 comprise of 35% of the business. Some of the most popular patterns for girls are lace, polka dots and floral prints while maximum purchases for boys are made for character t-shirts such as Chhota Bheem, and Disney being the most favorite.

    In the Kids Toys and games category fun and adventurous toys continue to be on the kid's radar with popular demand for brands such as Hamley's, Funskool, Fisher-Price are available at upto 50% discount. Remote controlled drones and helicopters in the electronic toys category witnessing a 5x growth in sales. Whereas the premium toys category comprising of hoverboards and ride-on's also witnessed a 5x spike YoY.

    Further commemorating the joyous spirit of the occasion, Snapdeal in partnership with Uber has come together to paint the lives of children with happiness by donating crayons to NGOs such as Teach for India, Oxfam India, Bhumi, Care India, Give India and more.

    Users can online donate pack of Camlin crayons on the Snapdeal app and website between 14th to 21st November' 2016. Snapdeal Sunshine's platform along with Uber will further facilitate these donations, delivering the kits to NGOs across India.
