Alcatel One Touch Hero First Look and Hands On: Processor and Connectivity Options
The Alcatel One Touch Hero packs a decent 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor. The handset also has 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
While we are yet to go into details with the new handset, it can be said that quad core processors are usually fast enough to get you work done.
Being said that, it isn't fair to go on and compare the handset's chipset to something in the calibre of octa cores or hexa cores. But going by usability and experience, a quad core is actually all you need for a successful device operation.
In terms of connectivity, the new Alcatel One Touch Hero comes with support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Apart from that, both single-SIM (8GB storage) and dual-SIM (16GB storage) versions of the handset will be available.
