Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ - Processor, Battery and Storage

The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ is powered by a 2GHz MT6592 True Octa-Core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. There's 16GB of on-board storage, which can be expandable with a microSD card slot. The Idol X+ feels very fast indeed, with not a single melt down in my hands-on time.

Alcatel has bundled a 2,500mAh non-removable battery fitted inside. It can give a talk time of 27 hours (2G), and a manageable 16 hours (3G).

On the imaging front, there is the 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2-mega-pixel front-facing shooter.

But that's not as high a resolution when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S5. At the same time, we need to remember that the Idol X+ will cost under Rs. 20,000 price bracket, so it's unnecessary to start a new argument around the phone's megapixels. Both cameras are capable of recording videos in Full 1080p format.
