Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update Finally Rolls Out to Xolo X1000

    After the release of the Android 4.3, mobile phone manufacturers have been pushing a lot of OTA updates to their devices. Recently we saw an ADM (Android Device Manager) update pushed to Android devices and Android 4.2 OTA update is quite in a mover. Sony Xperia and Samsung has been getting the updates recently. However, Google Nexus Devices are always the first ones to get all Android updates.

    Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update Finally Rolls Out to Xolo X1000

    This time around, Xolo has finally announced the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Xolo X1000 which was initially launched in March with Android 4.0.4. Although Although 4.1 is quite an old update, Xolo has finally got it. In fact, the update was anticipated by June. The latest 208MB Android Jelly Bean update for the X1000 will bring about a better performance with project butter, Google Now, better notifications and lots more features.

    The Android 4.1 update for the Xolo X1000 would be available over-the-air (OTA) and users can also manually check for the update by going to the Settings, About phone, System updates and finally Update from OTA.

    Moreover, other Xolo phones like A800 got Jelly Bean update recently, Xolo Q700 that is already running on Android 4.2 has also received a major update along with the Q600.

    Here is a brief specs rundown on the Xolo X1000:

    Xolo X1000 comes packed with 4.7 inch screen with a resolution of 720p. There is a 2GHz single-core Intel Atom processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage capacity, which can be further increased by another 32GB via microSD card. There is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. The handset is selling currently at the price of Rs. 13,999 on online store.
