Android 4.2.2 Update For Samsung Galaxy Note 2 And S3 Delayed
Previously there was news that Samsung will be pushing Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 smartphones. But, now there are rumors that there have been delays in the roll-outs due to issues with Samsung's TouchWiz UI. This bit of information comes from a recent tweet from SamMobile.

The update brought several new features including Project Butter, customizable Notification panel, smart stay, pop-up play feature, predictive keyboard, Google Now, smart rotation amongst others.

There is no concrete news on what the 4.2.2 update will bring, but SamMobile did leak the test firmware along with details of the update for Galaxy S3. It is unclear as to if the update will bring similar features to Galaxy Note 2. For details of the changes that might be introduced by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, click here.
Although the news of the delay doesn't come Samsung itself, SamMobile is known for giving accurate updates on Samsung related news. Besides, the South-Korean giant never did specify the date of release for the updates.

Galaxy Note 2 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 1.6GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting 32GB, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, connectivity features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC and micro USB 2.0. and a massive 3,100 mAh Li-ion battery. The samrtphone is priced at Rs. 34,900.
