Celkon Launches Upgraded Campus A35K With 2GB ROM At Rs 3,099

Back in June, India-based smartphone maker Celkon launched the cheapest ever Android KitKat powered smartphone in the domestic market called the Campus A35K. It was ridiculously priced at Rs. 2,999.

The company which is is working towards becoming the best smartphone seller in the low-end segment has not launched the updated version of the same Campus A35K device with a larger ROM figures. The older variant had a 512MB of Internal storage and now the latest model comes with 2GB of native storage. All the other specs of the smartphone remains the same. The Celkon Campus A35K with 2GB ROM is priced at Rs. 3,099.

Celkon Campus A35K: Key Specifications

The Celkon Campus A35K sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels.

It is powered by a 1 GHz processor coupled with a very less 256MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.

In the camera segment, users will get to see a 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing snapper.

The Celkon Campus A35K offers connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP and further, it is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphone with Dual Standby.

The ultra-affordable 3G smartphone houses 2GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable via microSD card.

The device which measures 10.7 mm thick and weighs in at 102 grams draws its energy from a 1400 mAh battery.

The company says that it has so far sold about 4,00,000 units of Celkon Campus A35K smartphone till date.

This phone could possibly be the cheapest KitKat powered smartphone that one can buy in India with 3G support, dual camera, Dual SIM and also a microSD card slot.
