Commenting on the success, Varun Sharma, CEO, Coolpad India, said, "As a new brand just entering India, we are overwhelmed with the huge response from our customers. We have crossed more than 100,000 registrations in such a short time."
He added, "We are really trying hard to get as many units as we can to meet the demand we are seeing. I believe what's really working here is the combination of great specs at an affordable price, along with our game-changing innovation on battery life. Additionally, having 275+ services centers on day 1 of the launch is building confidence on our new brand."
Karan Khara, VP Strategic Alliances, Snapdeal, said, "We have seen a phenomenal response to Coolpad's maiden launch in India with Dazen1 pre-launch registrations crossing the 1 lakh mark in record time. The registration numbers continue to grow at a very fast pace and we are looking forward to a blockbuster response to the Flash sale. As Coolpad's exclusive partner in India, we are committed to making it the most sought after smartphone brand in India."
