If reports are to be believed, Microsoft is readying itself to launch its new entry level Windows Phone handset - the Lumia 535. The successor of Lumia 530 is set to take stage in India on a November 26 event, which will be held simultaneously in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.

While Microsoft is tight lipped on sharing any details when it comes to price and availability of the most affordable Windows Phone 8.1 device ever, at the same time; GizBot has received a hot tip from a source who chooses to remain anonymous.

Yes, we have got hold of the price and release date of Microsoft Lumia 535, and as per our source the affordable Windows phone will be made available around December 1, at a price of approximately Rs. 8,990.

Furthermore, we've also been informed that the Redmond ­based tech giant has already started taking pre­orders on the Lumia 535 offline. In fact, the handset maker has started taking pre­orders starting from November 25 and it will continue till November 30, 2014.
