6 features you will miss on iPhone SE
Apple recently launched its much talked about 4-inch iPhone SE that brings a smaller display back to the fashion. The iPhone SE sits in between the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 5S, for it brings nearly all of the features of Apple's flagship iPhone 6S but looks similar to the old-generation 5S.
The iPhone SE was expected to be an inexpensive iPhone, and people also anticipated it to be the cheapest iPhone ever, however the phone has been placed in the upper mid-range segment. Though many of those eyeing to buy the phone are disappointed to know about its price, there are many other Apple fans who like the preposition, especially those who prefer smaller display, without compromising on powerful features.
These 7 Similar Night Photos from Galaxy S7 & Xiaomi Mi 5 Will Tell You What's the Real Difference!
In short, the iPhone SE has features like A9 and M9 processors, a 12MP rear camera, Live Photos, Touch ID, NFC, and Siri, which are the same as the iPhone 6S. But there also are some features that are missing from the new, comparatively lower priced iPhone. We take a look at 5 features that you may miss on the iPhone SE:
1.
Well, the iPhone SE is designed for those who wish for a smaller screen iPhone, however its 4inch display might have come as a disappointment for those who were expecting the phone to have a slightly bigger display. Besides, smaller screen means users will have to compromise with pixels as well. The iPhone SE features a 1136 x 640 pixel screen resolution, which is lower than 1334 x 750 pixels resolution of the iPhone 6S. However, the pixels-per-inch ratio remains the same at 326ppi.
Considering that not all fans of bigger display iPhone would want to spend a heavy price for the iPhone 6S series, we are sure there is a bunch of consumers who wished if `iPhone SE could also come with a bigger display variant.
2.
The biggest feature that we find missing from the iPhone SE is a 3D-Touch pressure-sensitive screen that's one of the key highlight of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. This means that you won't be able to have Peek and Pop previews and shortcut menus by pressing hard on the display of the latest iPhone.
3.
Sadly, the iPhone SE is available only in 16GB and 64GB internal storage capacities. Apple chose not to go for a larger 128GB capacity, which means you may feel space deprived after some time of use.
4.
In the camera department, you get a 12MP rear camera on the iPhone SE which is the same as the iPhone 6S. However, the front-facing camera on the latest iPhone is not equally powerful. The front-facinng camera on iPhone SE is fixed at 1.2MP which may not seem appealing to you, especially if you are a selfie enthusiast.
5.
The iPhone SE is priced higher than what was anticipated by most of the Apple fans. Rumors had it that the new phone would be priced very aggressively in India, however the company launched the iPhone SE for Rs 39,000 which shattered the dreams of many of those who were saving to buy the iPhone SE.
8.
Apple launched the iPhone SE with lower contrast ratio than the iPhone 6S. You get a ratio of 800:1 on the new iPhone, where as the iPhone 6S has 1400:1 ratio.
