Android 14 Beta Update Rollout: Eligible Smartphones From Oppo, Xiaomi, Nothing, And More
Google announced the Android 14 operating system update at this year's Google I/O 2023. Although the first public beta version of the Android 14 is out, it does not mean all new smartphones will get the update.
Needless to say, the first few Android smartphones to get the Android 14 update are the Google Pixel devices. The OS update has officially exited the developer preview stage and this is a major step closer to Android 14's final release later this year for smartphones from other manufacturers. Let's look at some of the first non-Google Android smartphones that will receive the Android 14 Beta update.

Google Pixel Devices To Get Android 14 Beta
It goes without saying that Google's Pixel devices were the first to get the Android 14 beta 1. On the Android 14 page, Google has listed the following Pixel devices as being eligible for the Android 14 beta program:
- Pixel 4a (5G)
- Pixel 5 and Pixel 5a
- Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro
- Pixel 6a
- Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro
Google launched the Pixel Fold and the Pixel Tablet at this year's Google I/O 2023. Moreover, Google could launch the Pixel 8 series devices in the second of this year. These should get the Android 14 stable version before other smartphones.
Nothing Phone 1 Android 14 Beta Update Confirmed
Nothing Phone 1 has been confirmed to be eligible for the Android 14 Beta. The brand hasn't offered any specific timeline but claimed the update should start arriving in the coming weeks.
Nothing OS 1.5, based on Android 13 has been available for all Phone (1) smartphones since mid-February. However, the update arrived about six months after the Pixel series.
Smartphones From Other Manufacturers Eligible For Android 14 Beta Update
Apart from the smartphones mentioned above, other smartphone manufacturers have confirmed which of their devices will get the Android 14 Beta update in the near future. However, the total number of devices as well as the number of devices from each manufacturer is quite low.
The Oppo Find N2 and the Find N2 Flip from Oppo will soon get the Android 14 Beta update. Xiaomi has indicated that the Xiaomi 12T, and the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will get the update.
From Realme, only the Realme GT 2 Pro is eligible for the Android 14 Beta update. And from iQOO, only the iQOO 11 qualifies for the update.
It is interesting to note that Tecno has announced the just-released Tecno Camon 20 series smartphones will receive the Android 14 Beta update. Meanwhile, Lenovo has indicated that the Lenovo Tab Extreme will receive the update.
