Apple's "It's Glowtime" event is just around the corner, where the Cupertino-based tech giant is most likely to unveil the next-gen iPhone 16 series with significant upgrades. With the launch approaching, the iPhone 15 series models are selling at discounted price tags in India.
The iPhone 15 Pro is now listed with a price tag of Rs 1,28,200 for the 128GB variant. Buyers can also avail of some bank and exchange offers on the previous generation Pro model, bringing its price to the lowest ever.

If you are planning to buy an iPhone Pro model and are unsure whether to choose the iPhone 15 Pro or wait for the iPhone 16 Pro, We have got you covered.
Should You Buy the iPhone 15 Pro or Wait for the iPhone 16 Pro?
Initially launched at Rs 1,34,900, the iPhone 15 Pro can be purchased starting at Rs 1,28,200 on Amazon. Buyers opting for ICICI Bank credit cards and exchanging their old models can get the device for less than a lakh, which can definitely be a great deal. Last year's flagship model also supports Apple Intelligence and comes with Dynamic Island, an A17 Pro chip, and an Action button.
However, if you are the one who is already using the Pro model and wants to experience the new iPhone 16 Pro, should wait for a few days, which is also expected to get a similar price tag as the iPhone 15 Pro but will have a larger display and more powerful A18 Pro SoC.
Even some additional Apple Intelligence features could be available to the iPhone 16 Pro but users might have to wait for a few months to experience it.
While the iPhone 16 Pro is reportedly to retain the same design language as its predecessor 15 Pro, it is expected to get an upgraded 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a new telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
The titanium frame on the iPhone 16 Pro is also expected to have a glossy finish which will replace the textured matte-glass on the iPhone 15 Pro. Moreover, the 16 Pro is said to start at 256GB of storage instead of 128GB and go up to 2TB.
It's also worth mentioning report from Macrumors suggested that Apple could discontinue both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max after the iPhone 16 series is launched. This is nothing new as Apple follows the strategy of discontinuing its Pro models after the launch of a new series every year.
So if you are planning to buy the iPhone 15 Pro, should buy it now and people looking forward to new models, stay tuned for the official announcement scheduled for September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple Park. Interested can watch the event live on Apple's official website and YouTube channel at 10 am Pacific Time (10:30 pm IST).
The brand is expected to announce four models - the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Alongside, the Watch Series 10 and new AirPods are expected to see the light at the same event.
