Have you ever witnessed a smartphone made of glass? You will! Unlike today's smartphones, which are often encased in metal or plastic and filled with opaque circuitry, the Cupertino giant Apple is all set to release its iPhone in an all-glass enclosure.
Interesting right? It's been a long time since Apple has innovated something that makes you go "wow". According to KGI's securities 'Ming-Chi Ku', one of the reliable Apple analysts on earth claimed that the Job's company is planning to drop the aluminum casing for an all-glass enclosure with AMOLED screen for its rumoured iPhone 8.
Further Kuo added that the 100% of iPhones are currently made with aluminum bodies and expects that number will fall to 40 percent or less following the launch of the 2017 iPhone. However, don't expect any major overhaul with the iPhone 7. As per the report, the 2017 iPhone will look more or less like iPhone 6s and it is the iPhone 8 which will be seen with the glass enclosure.
On the other side, few hours back, the Cupertino giant Apple has confessed the life expectancy of their devices including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Macbook line-up.
As per the company, the Apple Watch and iPhone are expected to last for three years, while the Macs and Apple TV should last at least 4 years.
Apple has confessed this in a new question and answer section published on Apple's site this week. Moreover, the company released this life span of the devices, with a number of greenhouse gases they are expected to contribute at that time keeping the mind.
