Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe vs OnePlus 3: 5 Reasons That Make The Asus Phone Better
Back in May at the Computex 2016 event, Asus unveiled three smartphones under the ZenFone lineup with the launch of the ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra. Earlier, there were reports that these smartphones will go on sale on July 12, 2016.
The same has turned out to be true as the manufacturer has started taking orders for the ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Deluxe in Taiwan. Apart from these, Asus has also unveiled a high-end variant of the ZenFone 3 Deluxe with 256 GB of internal storage capacity.

Notably, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe is the first smartphone to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC. This chipset that was launched recently includes a slew of improvements than the powerful Snapdragon 820 SoC. Also, the smartphone comes with 6 GB of RAM.
The high-end Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe with Snapdragon 821, 6 GB RAM and 265 GB storage is priced at NT $24,990 (approx. Rs 52,100). The mid-range model with Snapdragon 820, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is priced at NT $17,990 (approx. Rs 37,500) and the base variant with Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage is priced at NT $15,990 (approx. Rs 33,000).

When it comes to 6 GB RAM phones, OnePlus lately released its flagship OnePlus 3 that comes with such a large RAM to handle all tasks smoothly. This device is priced at Rs 27,999 and it is available exclusively on Amazon India. Here, we will point out the differences between these two smartphones.
Snapdragon 821 brings improvements
The latest Snapdragon 821 SoC assures to be 10 percent faster in terms of performance than the OnePlus 3. It can be clocked up to 2.4 GHz and the Adreno 530 GPU will also have a higher speed of 624 MHz than in the Snapdragon 820 SoC. It supports up to 4K Ultra HD and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It is integrated with 600 Mbps X12 LTE modem.
More than enough internal storage
Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe has a capacious internal storage space of 256 GB that can be expanded further using a micro SD card. This is a lot more internal storage space than what the users actually need. The storage in the OnePlus 3 is just 64 GB and that cannot be expanded further.
23 MP camera!
There is a 23 MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P Largan lens, OIS, and Laser AF in the Asus offering. On the other hand, there is a 16 MP camera at the rear of the Oneplus 3 with PDAF, OIS, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and 4K video recording.

Rapid Charging
The OnePlus 3 has the Dash Charging feature that is claimed to charge it quickly in just a few minutes. On the other hand, the 3,000 mAh battery in the ZenFone 3 Deluxe features Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and BoostMaster Fast Charging that seems to be better and it is a feature brought in by the Snapdragon 821 SoC.
Larger Display
The Asus phone features a larger 5.7-inch Full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display with 100% NTSC color Gamut. On the other hand, the OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch FHD display.
Other Specs
Otherwise, both the smartphones have the USB Type-C port that is becoming a standard right now and they also feature a fingerprint scanner on board. Also, they have 6 GB RAM to render a better multi-tasking experience without any clutter or lag. Both are based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with their own UI.
