    Taiwan-based handset maker Asus has finally launched their battery focussed smartphone in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 9,999. Dubbed as Zenfone Max, this device was announced earlier at the ZenFestival in India back in August 2015.

    This device comes with a leather kind of back cover and can be used to charge the device On-The-Go (OTG).

    Moving on to the specifications, this device sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. This device is powered by a 1 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU under the hood.

    On the storage front, the Asus Zenfone Max is employed with 2GB RAM, 16GB of ROM with an expandable option up to 64GB via microSD card slot. The Zenfone Max is shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop on top of Zen UI 2.0.

    Further, this device is employed with 13MP rear camera with Real Tone flash, Laser Auto Focus, 5MP camera on the front, with 85-degree wide angle lens. It also supports connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery.

    The so-called Asus Zenfone Max comes in Black and White variants at a price of Rs. 9,999. You can get your hands on Amazon.in and Flipkart starting from January 15th.
