When it comes to the large screen smartphone market, the yesteryear Samsung device, Galaxy Note 5 raised the bars. It is not an exaggeration to say so and it goes without saying that everyone expects a better and an even more functional large screen device this time.
Well, the Galaxy Note 7 will be unveiled today at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York. In the meantime, we have already heard a lot about the Note 7. In fact, it is one of the few most anticipated smartphones of this year.

Set the screen resolution yourself
On the Galaxy Note 7, you can set the screen resolution all by yourself. Well, you can use it at QHD 1440p or scale it down to HD 720p as per the requirement. This is nothing but the condensed screen mode that came along with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The recent leak shows that there is a resolution slider in the display settings that will help you scale down from Quad HD 1440p to FHD 1080p and even HD 720p. This way, you can save the battery whenever you don't want QHD resolution.
Not all apps and options will work in low resolutions
Samsung will definitely warn you about the apps and options that will not work in lower resolutions as in the case of the original resolution.
Multi-level power saving mode
Already, Samsung devices come with the Power Saving mode and Ultra Power Saving modes. Now, the fresh leak is that the Galaxy Note 7 will arrive with a multi-level power saving feature as well. There will be power saving modes that will be used independently for each of the screen resolutions.
Choose what to limit
The users of the Galaxy Note 7 with the multi-level power saving mode will have a number of options to customize their device. They can customize what limitations the device should have when it is set to a specific power saving mode.
The new Note UX
The leaked screenshots show us that there will be a new Note UX that will bring aout many new features such as new notification bar switches, more rounded icons, and an integrated Notes app. It will arrive with extra launcher and menu icons too.
As seen in the image, the new Note UX brings rounded icons that look impressive. We can expect more changes to come with the Galaxy Note 7.
Samsung will unveil the edge variant alone!
It is known that the Note 7 will arrive only in the edge variant that will feature dual curved edges on the either sides. So far, Samsung has been releasing both flat and edge variants of the Note devices, and this is the first time that it will come with the edge variant alone.
