Honor India Mar 30 Event: Is it just Saina Nehwal or Something Else?
In order to strengthen its position in the mobile industry, the Chinese handset maker Huawei has aggressively expanded its smartphone line-up recently. As per the strategy analysis, the Shenzhen-based handset manufacturer Huawei is the third-largest smartphone company in the world, surpassing the Redmond giant Microsoft.
As per the IDC report, Huawei became the fourth mobile phone vendor in the history to ship over 100 million smartphones in a year. This shipment has a fair share of affordable handsets in emerging markets, combined with flagship models too.
Reportedly, the sub-brand of Huawei, that's Honor has contributed a lot to this growth and now the company is taking some major steps to make stronger foothold with Honor range.

Especially in India, the company has planned a big event for March 30th, that's today for some special corporate announcements.
Even though we are not sure about what will be the major highlight of the event, however, we have jotted down some of the major possible announcements expected by the officials today. Take a look at the sliders below:
Honor Event #1
In this event, we expect the company to rope in the Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal as the Honor India's new brand ambassador. On the other side, few weeks back, Huawei also scored the famous Football star Lionel Messi as Global Brand Ambassador to the company.
Honor Event #2
Speculations are rife, that the company might launch Honor 7i, which was launched in the Chinese market last year. However, there is no official news about it, we advise you to take it with a grain of salt. As per the report, Honor 7i is expected to come with the 5-inch screen, 13MP flappable camera, 2GB RAM and a fingerprint sensor integrated into it.
Honor Event #3
In the series of their latest teasers on Honor India Facebook page, the company said, 'Watch out for smashing offers'. Hence, there are possibilities of Honor planning to offer their fan some amazing deals on their smartphone and other device's range.
Honor Event #4
Out of all the possibilities, there's also a chance that Huawei might announce some new developments in the change of channel strategies.
After all, the company should work on their online and offline models to secure more sales in the smartphone market. Essentially, they are already teasing, 'All set to serve up something special!' which hints at some corporate announcement in line.
