Huawei's online brand, Honor has launched Honor Note 8 smartphone in the Chinese market today. Sporting a huge 6.6-inch display, this phablet will compete against the Lenovo Phab Plus and Xiaomi Mi Max.

Coming in Gold, Silver, and Gray colors, the Honor Note 8 will be available in China initially. Meanwhile, the pre-order starts from today and will go on sale on August 9th.

This smartphone comes with a metal body, measuring 7.18mm in thickness and weighs around 219grams.


The Honor Note 8 smartphone sports a 6.6-inch Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display on board.


In terms of hardware, the Note 8 is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 955 processor with Mali T880-MP4 as GPU under the hood.


Talking about the storage, this phablet comes with 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB ROM with an expandable option of up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot.


The optics department is backed by a 13MP camera with dual tone LED flash and an 8MP front camera on board.

Operating system

The Honor Note 8 is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of EMUI 4.0 out of the box.

This phablet supports connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.
